Back in Ohio…it Farmers Market Time!

Hello Everyone

We have just moved to Rome, Ohio where we now live on a 30 acre farm!  This coming Spring and Summer we have decided to partner with Hummingbird Farm to have our booths at a local farmers market right next to each other!  Hummingbird Farm has asked our managing outreach partner Chrysalis Community to help them build a therapeutic farm refuge for women battling cancer.  Since Campfire and Chrysalis are basically one in the same we couldn’t be more thrilled!  We look forward to encouraging the efforts of Hummingbird and serving them while they take steps to serve women in need.  This new partnership is a great new step for our Mobile Coffeehouse and we look forward to every weekend!  We hope to see you at the markets!

Below is our current booth that would serve your event.  We offer the best in coffee and other hot and cold cafe style drinks.  We can be a 10×10 booth or a 10×20 booth with a 3 table “cafe” at our side.

Our Coffee

Roasted just up the road in Black Mountain, North Carolina we can assure our customers a fresh Organic cup of coffee.  Our baristas can craft any espresso drink and our cold brew is something not to miss.  We currently offer one of Dynamite Coffee’s medium or dark roasted beans from Central and South America as well as a light roast from Ethiopia.  If you are looking for quality coffee in these north Georgia mountains we promise to do our best to not disappoint.

If you are a true coffee connoisseur make sure to sign up for our Campfire Coffee Club.  Not only will you enjoy 1, 2 or 3 lbs of coffee a month, the little bit extra we charge we charge will go to our outreach hope Chrysalis Community.  Our Campfire Coffee Blend is sure to appease those traditional coffee lover and the Chrysalis Blend will make a light roast lover pour a second cup.

Our Food Promise

We make a few promises to our customers but they all can be summed up by saying; our hope is to make food and drinks from ingredients that are as close to God’s design as possible.

To elaborate our Great Grandma’s Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie is made just as she made it 80 years ago with her mother in the plains of the mid-west. Back then she used grains that had not been genetically modified, or sprayed with pesticides.  The butter was from a farm down the street made from fresh raw milk.  The eggs came from her backyard and if raw sugar wasn’t at the general store it was replaced with maple sugar they had left over from making syrup.  Over the years, each generation kept the recipe but changed the ingredients.  First it was enriched wheat, next margarine replaced the butter, then the hand made dark chocolate was replaced by those chips in the yellow bag made with corn syrup. I was guilty of this…and to this day when my aunt makes them I still take one and the nostalgic memories of joy return.

However, we are doing all we can possibly do to ensure our ingredients return to their original design.  So, in turn, our bodies can enjoy not only an amazing taste sensation, but also use the food as designed by our creator!

Our Story

Ten years ago the Dasher’s, Shane, Staci, Analyse and Niah – at the time, were given a huge vision to start a holistic outreach for pregnant women.  This massive outreach had many moving parts and at the time it was so undefined it was overwhelming.  Why us?  How would we get it off the ground? What should we do first?!

All these questions and unknowns led to the simplest of solutions…just ignore the whole thing and chalk it up as just a crazy pipe dream.  Well, YHVH had other plans and here we are 10 years, 3 failed attempts, and 2 more children later.  This vision is something we just couldn’t shake and in July of 2017 we took a step off the boat, left the life we had been living and opened up Campfire Coffeehouse.

So why now?  Well, let’s just say we couldn’t ignore our hearts any more.  We felt we had to take a step into full-time outreach and focus on what we thought would be the best way to get this huge hope off the ground.  So we packed up and moved to the North Georgia Mountains to open up a cafe that would not only raise money for the cause but be a place where we could begin helping women get back on their feet through a job training program.  We hoped to purchase a small farm and eventually add that element to the community of businesses within Chrysalis.  We started a brick and mortar location, but quickly learned that was not going to work within the community we chose.  So, we moved the coffeeshop into a Mobile Coffeehouse and began serving local events.  This was an amazing blessing and we now can take our outreach where it is needed most!  If you know us…this is a great fit for us.

We have now moved the outreach back to a farm in Ohio of all places!  But, wow!, is this place amazing.  The owners of Hummingbird Farm have asked us to help them develop a therapeutic farm refuge for women battling cancer.  What a perfect curve in the road and we look forward to having our Coffeehouse right next to our Farm Stand!

We hope you can support us!
